My Josephine is almost 8 months old.

This week, watching her play with her toys, I realized she is starting to look more like a little girl and less like a baby.

So focused.

She is rarely still, hence the blurry phone-photos. I take between 1 and 50 pictures of her per day, and most of them look like this. She is getting better at crawling, but her new favorite thing is STANDING. It's hard to get her to sit on her bottom because she flexes her legs straight out. Crawling is now just the means to get her to something she can climb up on, and she is getting ready to cruise. :-)


I realize so far all of my posts have been about my baby, and I am sure that many of them will be about her because she is such an amazing and huge part of my life. But the reason I started this blog was to get STARTED. To have a place to write for me.I put it off for far too long because I couldn't think of a clever title - which was absurd. So I started it up with just my name. Now, as a new mom, it hasn't been easy to find a lot of time to write, but I hope that with a little practice I'll get better at it.
